"Tis the Season!!!!!

A fabulous holiday season was had by all. My day was complete by the many hugs and thank you's I received telling me how happy my boys were.

Jaxon got his much wanted "Combat" ( and much more)

Mason was thrilled to finally have his own Playmobiles (among other things)

Carson got his own Hockey stick!!! (as well as other things)

Easton for most of the day wanted nothing to do with his gifts! Too many boxes and papers to explore, and he got a whole stocking full of Dum Dum suckers!!!!!

The Boy's (Jim, Jaxon and Carson) received "Air Soft Guns" which the name was quickly changed to "Air HARD Guns" by Jim after his first battle, realized that goggles were not quiet enough protection and resorted to his hockey helmet.

Christmas eve was spent at Grandma and Grandpa Knight's with dinner and gift's!!

Great Grandma and Grandpa joined us for the evening!!!

On the 23rd it was the Jones party at Grandma's a fun night with cousins and Santa!!!

Jaxon asked for a Quality Left Fielder for the Yankees (with a little coaxing from Jim) but he would settle for a Combat.

Carson asked for a Hockey stick and Legos.

Mason wants Playmobiles and Legos.

! Easton just liked that everyone was looking at him!

As tradition goes, Grandma gives everyone pajamas, the kids can't wait to change, then we take the picture in front of the tree. We sure did miss our cousins that could't make it.

Our season began with a trip to Temple Square to see the lights,
with the Pepiot's. We love and cherish the little time we have with them.

Thanks for spending Thanksgiving with us!

Our church did a really nice party "Return to Bethlehem". We got to dress as if we were going to Bethlehem and they did a program reinacting some scripture stories leading to Christ's birth.

Carson was asked to be Samuel the Laminite from the Book of Mormon. He was thrilled, that is one of his favorite stories from the scriptures.

Of course our gingerbread house building.

Mason in his first grade Christmas Program.

Carson has really taken up music this year. He joined the school choir, and LOVED it. He didn't even complain about having to be to school twice a week by 7:30.

He has also started piano and loves it too. He had his first recital and played Jingle Bells and did a great job!
We hope your season was as joyful as ours. My goal for 2010 is to be a better blogger so we will see how that goes!

Halloween Vacation!

We had an awesome Halloween! Jaxon was given the opportunity to play in a tournament in Las Vegas with The Bandits, so we decided to make a family vacation out of it and also go to LegoLand. Much to our surprise the boys were not at all upset to miss Trick-Or-Treating. We left Thursday and drove to Vegas stayed there until Sunday then drove to Carlsbad where we were about a mile from LegoLand and just a little further to some beautiful beaches and stayed there until Tuesday. A quick trip but a much needed one for all of us.
Easton Loved the sand at the beach. He just sat and would play forever then he would move on to a little seaweed and then into the water. He loved it, he did however figure out it wasn't as fun to eat!

LegoLand was amazing. behind the boys in this picture is downtown New York City all built out of Legos. Amazing! They also had the Daytona NASCAR track, The Las Vegas Strip, Washington D.C. and alot more. Amazing! Carsons dream in life is now to be a Master Lego Model builder at LegoLand. It was a great time.

Mason had fun. His favorite is just Lego guys. He was excited to bring some new ones home with him!

Carson loved this one they had it set up just like President Obama's Inauguration. Pretty cool!

Halloween- at the last minute the boys decided to bring costumes. They wore them at Jaxon's game. Carson Captain Rex, Mason a ninja, Easton a Lion and Jaxon so original a baseball player!

The Bandits did awesome! They came out of pool play 4-0. they played a team from Hawaii (who won the entire tournament) and lost 6-2 not bad because all the other teams lost by at least 10 to Hawaii, and if you can tell from the picture- They were some big boys! Way to go Bandits!
It was a fun time had by all. How we Love our time together and the fun memories that were created. Our boys are the BEST!!!

REMEMBER US!

Hello! life has actually kind of slowed down for the Knights. We are almost done with our first term of school, we just finished the fall baseball season, we finished off our summer with wonderful trip to Troy, Southern Canada, and Glacier National park, we are preparing to celebrate the 1year birthday of Easton,( Where does the time go?) and then spending our Halloween in Las Vegas for the Fall Desert baseball tournament with the Bandits (I never thought living in Utah we would have a year round baseball season. guess I was wrong!), then on to Carlsbad CA. for a quick visit to Legoland. Truly the only reason I have for not blogging is I can't get pictures to download on my laptop and heaven forbid I should go upstairs to blog on the other computer. So I hope every one hasn't given up on me. I was given a tip from a friend on how I might get pictures to download so I am giving it one more try. Thanks Motherboard it worked! I am really loving Picasa.Posted by Picasa

Take Me Out To The Ballgame!

The last few weeks OK months have been filled with baseball, and we love it! The house is a disaster, I do my best to make sure everyone has clothes to wear but that doesn't really matter as long as the uniforms are clean, and dinner time, Whats that? a quick trip to the nearest drive thru!We spent our 4th of July weekend in Park City, Doing what you ask? Watching Baseball! Finishing up 15 games in 7 days.
Mason ended his season of playing for the A's in machine pitch. He did awesome! He was very nervous to play up with his big brother Carson. He was a little shocked the first time he actually hit the ball but quickly realized he had to run. His batting average went up with each game and he did great. He is now the biggest fan for his Brothers as they finish their seasons (it does require alot of bribing Legos, candy etc.)

Carson did awesome in his regular season with the A's. He was invited to try out for the Kaysville City All-Stars, he was excited to make the team and have his Dad as one of the coaches. They finished their first tournament taking 2nd place. Way to go Carson!

Easton is a trooper! He spends most of his evenings cheering on his brothers. He is now sporting his 2 front teeth and has mastered sitting up on his own. He sacrifices many naps for ball games and doesn't really fuss much about it. He knows the Stroller almost more than the high chair for meal time but give him his food and he is happy.

Jaxon had his dream come true this weekend and finally got his over the fence Home Run. He has looked forward to that day for a long time. It was awesome. His team took 2nd in the Firecracker tournament. You Rock J-Dizzle!

6 Months Old

Easton had his 6 month check up a couple weeks ago (okay I really stink at blogging). He is still a great sleeper, eater and gives Mom, Dad and the brothers no reason to complain. He is now weighing 17 lbs. 11 ozs. and is 27 inches tall. It is crazy to think we waited 5 and 1/2 years for this baby but he was well worth the wait. We love you E!

WOW! I Love Spring!

Spring is always a great time of year for us, however, my blogging has taken the back burner (not that it has ever been fully on the front). So this week it all started full force. You all know Jaxon has been in baseball for a couple months but this week Jim, Carson and Mason began, so on top of 2 Cub Scout den meetings and 2 Karate classes (thank heaven C & M are in the same class and on the same baseball team) we can now have 7-10 games/practices a week. Which I am not complaining I know a lot of people whose schedules are worse than ours. As overwhelming as our schedule gets, I love this time of year, spending most evenings at the park and unfortunately my house and yard get little attention. I have decided a clean house, as wonderful as it is, just doesn't last long enough. Years past the house thing stresses me out but having a baby around again I have realized childhood doesn't last long enough either, so I am going to really try and just enjoy our spring chaos. This is kind of a long post but here is what we have been up to the last month.
Mason turned 6 years old! WOW! I can't believe it. Around our house we don't just celebrate one day, we have to at least make a weekend of it at minimum. So it all began Saturday with a friend LEGO party. I love LEGO's other than the pinata the kids pretty much wanted to play LEGO's so we bagged the other games and let them play. Sunday we had his family party, and Monday he got to choose our activity and with a little influence from his brother's we headed to CHUCK E. CHEESE'S.

" Where a kid can be a kid"

"Mother of the year" I even made a LEGO cake.

HAPPY EASTER!
Dressed all fancy for church Easter Sunday.

Easton, now 6 months, has had a very triumphant month he has mastered rolling over! He can get from his back to his stomach, he just gets really mad because he hasn't figured out how to roll back to his back. He will have his check up soon so I will post his stats then. He is happy as can be, full of giggles, sleeping 10 plus hours at night and naps great, he loves meal time, sweet potatoes and pears are his favorite.

Another ball game in the rain and cold!

Carson has taken up fly fishing! Unfortunately all of those pictures are on a disposable camera so I will post them later. He loves it and according to him has almost caught a few fish. He loves going fishing because it is just him and his Dad. Good one on one for Carson! He also had his first official Pinewood Derby for Cub Scouts, He loves scouts.

Jaxon also participated in the Pinewood Derby but I think his highlight was when over spring break the Bandits won the Spanish Fork Pizza Factory Invitational Tournament. It was awesome, cold and rainy. The Bandits did great going undefeated and winning the championship game after at one time being down 6-1 and came back to win 11-10! Way to go Bandits!
Even at scouts, I really don't think the hat comes off!

Bandits are # 1!

And that is how we have kicked our spring!
Today while shopping, a lady in front of me looked at Easton and told me since she was about 12 weeks along in her pregnancy her doctor had been telling her she was having a boy, she already had 2 girls so they were thrilled But now at 20 weeks and after a lot of shopping (she was doing a big return) he said oh, I think its another girl. She asked if she was missing out not having a boy, I explained he was boy # 4 and I am pretty biased, I LOVE MY BOYS! Looking at all these pictures just makes me smile and realize how lucky I am that they are mine!
