Tuesday we went to the Manhattan Temple. It was cool to see the meeting house on the 3rd floor. Jaxon and Jim and some of our baseball friends went and did Baptisms for the Dead. It was a great experience.
Jaxon, Ashlee, Morgan, and Hayden L., Hayden G., Summer and Ben
While the dads and older kids were in the Temple. Meg and I took the younger kids to the Central Park Zoo after a ride on the carosel.
Bracken,Mason, Jack, Cooper, Easton and Carson
Central Park Zoo is very small, the kids still loved it.
The Kids liked the Penguins
I liked the Polar Bear
After the Temple we met up at the Museum of Natural History. We were pretty disappointed but I am sure the 4th of July crowds didn't help matters. It was hard to find your way around, the elevators were so slow and with a stroller not many other options and it was NOTHING like the movie which Jim and I anticipated but the kids were very disappointed.
We still managed to find some cool things.
After the Museum and a long wait for the Hop on Hop off bus we took the uptown bus tour.
The first Cancer Hospital in the U.S. Babe Ruth died here.

Cathedral of Saint John the Devine (Jackie Robison's funeral was here)
